General Web site use

The Web site purpose:
To provide an environment for people to gain up to date information about any matter relating to Toowoomba 8 Ball.  Whilst great is taken to provide the most relevant information possible, Toowoomba 8 Ball assumes no liability for false or misleading information.

We ask that all users respect the web site and use it only for its intended purpose.

Spam:
If you discover any strange posts or irrelevant information, please notify an administrator so that user can be deleted and any information removed. If you take offense from unsavory content, we recommend you don’t click on any spam links. To try and reduce spam we do not allow 'auto-registration' programs, and anyone found using them may have their IP address banned.

 


Players General Conduct

 

  • Any Fees due to the Toowoomba Eight ball association must be paid by the due date.  Failure to do so WILL result in a suspension.

  • Toowoomba 8 Ball uses the official rules of the World Eight Ball Federation.  Anyone wishing to change or dispute any of the World Rules may do so at a meeting of the Queensland Eight Ball Federation.

  • Any competitions within Toowoomba 8 Ball are to be played in a sportsman like manner.

  • Bad language, violence of any kind, or abuse will not be tolerated.

  • Every player has the responsibility to maintain a good relationship with the management of the venues, visitors and other patrons.

  • Any venue has the right to refuse entry to a player.  Please abide by their rules at all times.

  • Members may be held responsible for any damages to property.  Please treat all equipment with respect.

  • Penalties and suspensions may be imposed at the discretion of the Management Committee.

     

 

Representative Tournaments

All players must be available at all times to play.  This includes being available at trial matches prior to selection.  Any player/s that doesn't show for trial matches will face the Judiciary Committee to explain their actions.

• All players must be dressed appropriately.  City Country requires players to wear the team shirt and Black dress trousers/skirts.  Black covered shoes and socks ONLY.

Any selections of players, where necessary, will be made by the Team captain and/or manager ONLY.

If you are selected to play at City Country and do not go away with the team, you will be responsible for any costs incurred by your selection.  You may also lose your right to trial for next year’s team.  Any player pulling out of the side must provide a valid reason within 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the competition.  You may still be responsible for any costs incurred.

Players must compete at any competition with a sportsman like manner.

No Misbehaviour will be accepted whatsoever at either local or distant competitions.  This also applies to places providing accommodation for any member.  You are reminded that other guests are also present.   Any associated players will face the Judiciary Committee and dealt with accordingly.

For City Country, the Toowoomba Eight ball association will provide transportation to and from the playing venue.  The bus will leave promptly on time each morning.  Anyone that can’t meet this arrangement will have to find their own way to the playing venue.  Any player/s that cause damage and/or make a mess on this transportation will be liable for any costs arising from their actions.

Any costs that you may incur whilst away are at your own expense.  Toowoomba Eight ball Association Inc. will not lend money or cover any expenses for or made by players.

Failure to abide by these rules & regulations may result in a Judiciary hearing against your actions.
